Character Spotlight

Our main heroine’s name is Evangeline, but friends call her Vee. The heroes name is Beau. So let’s learn more about these two love birds who have found each other after four years of not seeing each other.

Height:

I never give my characters a defined height unless I want to draw a parallel between the protagonists. I want my reader to imagine the character in their mind’s eye.

Hair colour & style:

Evangeline has dark which she often wears in a ponytail. She’s a no-nonsense kind of woman. Beau has short brown hair.

Eye colour:

Evangeline has gorgeous green eyes. Beau has blue eyes.

Dress sense:

Vee’s mostly dressed in blouses and black pants or jeans with heels. Beau is a little more casual. He mostly wears worn jeans and t-shirts.

Profession:

Evangeline owns and manages the bar, Temptation. Beau is a personal trainer.

The lies they tell themselves…

Vee’s lie is she can’t let anyone close enough to get hurt again. Her heart still has fault lines from the first time, and she can’t bear the idea of letting another man do that to her again.

Beau believes he did the right thing breaking up with Evangeline all those years ago. He thought she’d be better off with someone else.

Strengths…

Evangeline is fiercely independent.

Beau’s biggest strength is his loyalty – to his friends and the Evangeline.

Vee is stubborn, especially when it comes to something she’s made up her mind about.

Background to the story:

Tease Me was inspired from the characters in Tempt Me. Evangeline is Max’s boss and as soon as I met her in Tempt Me, I knew I had to write about this ball-busting woman who dominated the industry.
