Irish Rogue by L.K. Shaw is the fifth book in Brooklyn Kings series but it can be read as a standalone romance.
It was a heart-breakingly warm story with slow burn, painful but also beautiful romance. There were sweet moments, some really hard and heart-wrecking scenes, a bit of action, lots of darkness and some light as well. There was good writing, solid plot, entertaining story line, and real, flawed and lovable characters. Romance in this book wasn’t dark but the story and world of this book was.
This was an emotional story which will leave you with tear stained cheeks, and a smile for the deserved HEA.
