Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The idea of this meme is to answer three W questions, which are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Last night I started reading A List of Cages by Robin Roe. I have read just 33 pages at the moment and I must admit that I have never read anything like this book before. So this will be a new experience for me, and I hope that I’m going to love this heart-breaking story.
So finally, I finished my almost two week long reading of Save the Date by Morgan Matson on the flight from Riga to Helsinki. What can I say, the fact that I read it for almost two weeks is not a good sign. However, it wasn’t a bad book and I generally liked it but at the same time I was disappointed. I was expecting funny, romantic and very entertaining read, but sadly I didn’t receive any of that. This book was more family oriented, drama filled story that wasn’t that funny at all, also it was slow paced and very predictable. However, I’m not a big contemporary book fan, so it may have affected my enjoyment of this story as well. If you are looking for a funny and cute romance read then this is not it, but if you want to read a sweet family oriented story with some wedding and other kind of drama then Save the Date could be a good choice for you. Also, if you have enjoyed Matson’s other books then you should like this one as well.
I’m pretty sure that I’ll read next Jenny Han’s series To All the Boys’ I’ve Loved Before as it’s coming as a new TV series this summer to Netflix. The trailer looked like fun, so I’m very excited to read and then watch the TV series. As a contemporary romance these books should be perfect for summer time, which is pretty much the only time when I read this genre because I prefer to read mostly fantasy.
