WWW Wednesday – June 20, 2018

Dear book-lovers,
Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The idea of this meme is to answer three W questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
This is my first time doing this meme and it looks like fun. So, let’s get on with my answers for this week.

CURRENTLY READING:
Today I started a new beach read Save the Date” by Morgan Matson. I can’t say on what page I’m at the moment as it’s a kindle edition, which has some strange location numbers but it says that I’m 14% in 🙂 So far I’m not sure whether I like it or not but it looks promising.

RECENTLY FINISHED:
During the past three day I read “Summer” series by Jenny Han. Another beach read for this summer but I kind of feel strange about this series as they were entertaining but at the same time there was a horrible love triangle. I liked the 1st book The Summer I Turned Pretty. I liked the 2nd book It’s Not Summer Without You till the last chapter came, which became so not what I wanted to read, it just made me angry at all of the main characters. But the last, 3rd book, We’ll Always Have Summer was very frustrating all the way but with an ending that pleased me. I would recommend this book series for those who enjoy reading books with love triangle trope and summer contemporaries with many heart-breaking moments.

READING NEXT:
I guess, I’ll go for another beach read. It’s summer. So why not? 😉 Probably, one of the Morgan Matson‘s books “The Unexpected Everyhing” or “Second Chance Summer.  I have to return both of them to library in couple of weeks, so should read them soon. Other possibility could be A List of Cages” by Robin Roe. But let’s see what I will be in mood for, as I’m very spontaneous reader, and usually I never read books that I decide that I’m going to read next, so I like to keep my choices open.

Tell me in comments – What books have you recently read, are currently reading or plan to read next? Share your WWW post link here in comments 😉

Happy reading,

    1. I read last summer Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson. I liked it, but it was not the best contemporary romance that I have read. I still decided to read some more of her books this year as they are perfect for summer. Let’s hope I’ll like these ones better 🙂

    1. I’m 20% in the book, still not sure how much I’ll like it at the end, but it looks promising…It’s quite entertaining at the moment and that’s all what I need from contemporary romances 🙂 Must admit that it feels more family than romance oriented for now.

  1. Oh, I really wanna read a list of cages! Love the cover and I keep seeing it everywhere now, so think I might have to pick it up soon! Read the summer I turned pretty a couple of years ago and didn’t really get into it .. Think it was the characters and the way relationships were written, like you commented on. Great www 🙂 x
